Quality Assurance Manager – 6290 URA

As the world`s largest R&D spender in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics domain, they work in a vast number of drug discovery & therapeutic areas and are highly recognized internationally.

 

As within Quality Assurance for Quality Control Basel/Kaiseraugst this person will ensure that all process and product related activities in the area of Quality Control are following legal requirements, GMP guidelines and relevant company policies.

The perfect candidate has a Master degree or PhD in Life Sciences and preferably 5 years of experience in a similar role. Also we are looking for someone with Knowledge of cGMP and Quality requirements and who speaks German fluently. Additionally the perfect candidate is results-oriented and has an analytical working style. This role is a initial 6 months contract to be based in Basel area

Main Responsibilities

 

  • QA Release of excipients and other direct materials
  • Evaluation and assessment of change records
  • Review and approval of relevant GMP-documents
  • OOS, deviation management and CAPA review and approval
  • Review and approval of risk assessments in the area of responsibility
  • Collaboration with our interfaces to Quality Control (QC) personnel and other departments to ensure a constant state of inspection readiness by identifying, escalating and working to resolve compliance risks in the area

 Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required
  • Master degree or PhD in Life Sciences and preferably 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated experience in quality assurance (and additionally preferably quality control)
  • Knowledge of cGMP and Quality requirements
  • Results-oriented, analytical working style
  • Agile mindset, that is characterized by embracing change and the ability to work in self-organizing teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing in German (C2) as well as English (C1)
